I know it’s a litle late in the day to be writing this post but with nothing exciting happening in the transfer window(apart from the non-sensical rumours which die off in a day, of course!) i thought why not sit back and reflect on the best performers of the previous season. And the worst ones too.
Here I have listed the players I think have been the best and worst over the past season in Europe.
The Premier League has a larger share of the top players in the world, though not necessarily any of the very best, and teams from England once again dominated the Champions League.
But is it the league that people in Europe like to watch the most? I’m not so sure. How many people across the continent want to watch Bolton v Wigan, or Wolves v Birmingham? In England, the locals know it as a big Midlands derby, but no one else will be interested.
The most exciting league to watch next season will probably be the Spanish league. All of the players I have marked out here either play in La Liga or have signed for a Spanish club or are probably on the verge of.

Micheal Owen: The Man, The Player, The Legend!
A unique opportunity has come up for a club to purchase one of the hottest properties in English football.
After a wildly successful time at Newcastle United Michael feels that there is simply nothing more for him to accomplish there. It is with a heavy heart that he leaves behind the wonderful people of the North East, but he wants Newcastle United fans to know that they will always have a place in his bank account.
But Michael is the sort of player who is always looking forward, not back - while acknowledging that his past in the game makes a compelling case for purchase.
Michael’s ideal destination would be a club with Champions League football, a six-figure weekly basic wage, a five-year deal and also the moon on a stick and a threesome with Scarlett Johansson and a young Isabella Rossellini.
However, Michael is prepared to compromise and will settle for a four-year deal.

Most of you Red Devils supporters will argue that it’s rather a boon that someone like Cristiano Ronaldo, who was an arrogant tight pants sporting, flower wearing pansy pr**k(according to some enraged/sulking United supporters), has, in all probability gone.
Obviously the current stage of talks state that Ronaldo has been ‘permitted’ to talk to Real Madrid but we all know that there are more chances of Andorra booking a flight to South Africa than him rejecting the deal. Indeed Perez is back and so is the ‘Galactico’ era.
You(United fans) may say that we’re better off without a player who doesn’t want to stay, who keeps going, staying, going, is happy, unhappy, happy, going … but the world knows that you CANNOT replace the talent of that man. You have to agree that he’s played a huge part in United’s success over the past six years scoring 117 goals. You have to admit the fact that even Kaka and Messi together can’t do for United what he does. He proved it in the UCL final that he’s better than Messi. Much better.

AC Milan playmaker Kaka has undergone a medical at the request of Real Madrid in accordance with the Brazilian Football Confederation. In accordance with certain reports, few Real Madrid directors and even the team doctor accompanied the exams. But as of now, there is no news on either Real’s or Milan’s official websites.
After claiming last week that he does not want to leave Milan, Kaka, who converted a penalty in Brazil’s 4-0 win in Uruguay on Saturday, has refused to discuss his future since joining up with the Brazil squad last Tuesday. As the situation stands, Kaka is most likely to sign for Real. However, we wonder why Chelsea is sitting back and not even trying to purchase the player they’ve wanted since years!

Well, is this the start of the ‘Manchester City Era’! They’ve successfully signed Villa star Gareth Barry and he will be paid an astonishing £100,000 a week! Reportedly, the switch has cost City £12M and the 28-year-old will stay with the club for the next five years.
Barry, who was Liverpool’s target last summer, has now left Villa after 12 years, playing 400 matches for them and was even captain of the side, Naturally Mark Hughes is banking on the mid-fielder to take the club to the next level which the owners have been dreaming of since take-over. Hughes said, “Gareth is widely acknowledged as one of the top midfielders in the Premier League and that is a recommendation in itself. He plays at a level that has an impact on the game and we’re thrilled that he is joining us.”
So which ‘next level’ is City going to reach?

Former Italian footballer and manager, Carlo Ancelotti, has joined Chelsea F.C and the deal ‘will’ keep him with the club for the next 3 years.
Ancelotti announced his resignation from Milan less than an hour following their 2-0 victory over ACF Fiorentina on May 31, 2009, after the club terminated his contract by mutual consent with one year remaining. The next day he was confirmed as the new Chelsea manager after agreeing to a £9-million contract. Ancelotti, succeeding temporary replacement Guus Hiddink, became the club’s fifth manager in 21 months, following Jose Mourinho, Avram Grant, Luiz Felipe Scolari and Hiddink. He will also be the third Chelsea manager from Italy after Gianluca Vialli and Claudio Ranieri.

Chelsea F.C have bid farewell to short-term manager Guus Hiddink in style! Both Drogba and Lampard scored in the first and the second half respectively after Saha had put Everton ahead in the 25th SECOND!
Lampard fired into the Everton net from 25 yards to give Chelsea their fifth FA Cup triumph and provide departing manager Guus Hiddink a glorious send-off. Before, Drogba equalized for Chelsea after he perfectly headed Malouda’s brilliant cross into Tim Howard’s net.
Everton were making their first FA Cup final appearance since 1997. David Moyes’ side could not have got a better start. When Steven Pienaar found space on the left, his deflected ball was headed into the path of Saha by Marouane Fellaini. Saha volleyed it past Cech into the Chelsea net, scoring the fastest goal in FA Cup final history.
Cheslea clearly dominated the game, specially the second half. Their win handed Man-of-the-match Ashley Cole a record 5th FA Cup winners’ medal.
Who will replace Hiddink?
Or would he just stay?
So for the last time this season, Come this way for all your Comments!
