While Cristiano Ronaldo and the rest in the top-5 completely justify their bulky salaries the rest are just lazy, over-paid, under-performing and highly egoistic junk pieces who bring nothing more their teams than an average footballer playing for a bottom half BPL club does. Well okay, Eto’o is slightly overpaid but then they had to offer him something after he was part of the payment made to acquire Ibrahimovic!

I mean seriously, Adebayor paid roughly 145-150,000 quid a week for those lazy ass average performances and some disharmony in the dressing room?
Karim Benzema paid more than the likes of Gerrard or Torres or Lampard or Rooney or etc. etc.?

Footballers’ salaries depends on their quality, their contribution to the team, their marketing value and sometimes the eagerness of the club/manager to buy them. But I don’t see Benzema toppling Gerrard in any of those. I don’t think a Carlos Tevez is worth even a penny more to City than what Rooney is worth to Manchester United.

And then you see absolute trash like Kolo Toure being paid more than the likes of Wayne Rooney and Iker Casillas … I mean, seriously?

Players like Andrei Arshavin, Iniesta, Torres, Pirlo, Ribery, Cole definitely deserve a lot more.
