Not That We Like Stupid Fabainski, But The Referee Was Actually Quite Rubbish. Mr. Wenger Is Crying Right For A Change!

On wednesday night, we witnessed one of the WORST cases of refereeing we would ever come across! The referee for the game was Sweden’s Martin Hansson. The same ref who somehow managed to miss Henry’s clear hand ball in the WC qualifiers.

How the F*** could he allow Porto players to take the indirect kick so early!? Keeper Fabianski, who is not only unbelievably rubbish, but was also not ready at that time! How could a goal not go!? Firstly, even the indirect was controversial

Mr. Wenger, who moans about even the smallest of things was, for a change, absolutely right in complaining about the ref this time. He said, “It has to be clarified first of all how UEFA nominate referees for games. They have to be much more open on how they rate their referees. Where is the ranking of the referees? I believe too much has gone on in the last 30 years. What has happened is not good for football.”

He added, “I trust the referees to do their job and to do it well. I never ask who the referee is before a game but in this case I cannot say that he made everything right because he was wrong. It’s not my job to judge is he good enough or not, I just feel in that game he has shown he is not competent. He made at least five technical mistakes for a referee. You cannot give a quick free-kick once the referee is in the middle of the action. Once he is there in the middle, where the free-kick is, he cannot anymore give a free-kick, he has to make sure the opponent is at 9m distance. I believe he is incompetent or dishonest, so I prefer to believe he is not competent.”

Wenger also confirmed that Fabianski will play against Sunderland on Saturday, i.e. if the equally rubbish Almunia does not regain full fitness till then. He further said he still fully supports his keeper even after his fabulous own goal. I’m sure fans would beg to differ!
